The historic company Scheniders no longer exists and was replaced by Maximilian® Tyrol/Austria maintaining the same artisanal human resources that worked for Schneiders. The Loden coat has remained identical, the same finishing and fit, buttons and stitching, fabric and details have remained identical. The Loden is defined as an evergreen coat for its versatile use and for never having changed over time, for the recognizable olive green color also known as loden green, as well as for its bell model with bellows on the back, for the openings under the sleeves to allow air circulation, and for the side openings to slide hands in the trouser’s pockets. Its raw and oily wool made from mountain sheep and alpaca, gives the coat a soft and protective fabric on which water slides off, the fabric for the Loden is made of virgin wool and alpaca, and preserves the same characteristics as the original fabric in Loderers, Austria, in the 16th century.
